To Promote Agriculture Through Educational Outreach and Special Events
The Santa Rosa County Fair Association has been a designated 501(c) (3) not for profit organization for over 20 years. Chartered in 1991 the association is eligible to receive tax-deductible donations. As a volunteer organization with members donating 10,000+ hours help to organize and host the fair each year. The Association works hard every year to make each fair an enjoyable family event.
The purpose of the Association is to entertain and promote our communities' traditions, talents, diversity, vision and agricultural heritage, in a secure and fiscally responsible way through exhibits, tours and the funding of scholarships. Money generated from the Fair goes to the Santa Rosa County Fair Association to be used for improvements to the fairground facilities, scholarships, and awards.
The Santa Rosa County Fair Association is a member of the International Association of Fairs and Expositions as well as the Florida Federation of Fairs and Livestock Shows.
We strive to provide outstanding customer service; provide a safe, hometown environment for family fun, Santa Rosa County’s agriculture, art, industry and talent; and present an environment for education and community involvement.
Our 2013, Fair is building on the success of our 2012, Fair-- successful in participation, attendance, satisfaction, and revenue.
Excitement is the attitude of the fair trustees and volunteers as we arrange for more entertainment, rent a larger tent, purchase more picnic tables, and complete improvements of the facilities. We want your meetin' and greetin' to be pleasant.
Our board of directors is dedicated to serving Santa Rosa County, we invite the city and county officials to visit and participate in our fair.
